SYNOPSIS: During World War II, Brazil sent more than 25,000 soldiers to fight in Europe. Almost all     the soldiers came from poor backgrounds, and were mostly unprepared for combat. Looking up for Castle Hill, in Italy, during the freezing winter of 1944, the Brazilian Expeditionary Force(FEB) mine sweeping platoon is hit by a panic-attack that sets them running aimlessly right into the middle of ‘no man’s land’, losing each other. Desperate, cold and hungry, the ill-prepared soldiers have to choose between facing military court or going deeper into enemy line. They decide to avoid court-martial by tackling a daring military. To disarm the most feared minefield in Italy. On their way there, they meet two other deserters: an Italian soldier trying to join the Partigianos and a German officer who is simply tired of war. With the unexpected help of their ex-enemy, the soldiers are set to accomplish a mission that has so been deemed impossible.
