The newly opened Mercure Kota Kinabalu City Centre of the Accor Group of Hotels stands 25-floors high and offers breathtaking views of the ocean from the rooftop as well as from guest rooms on the higher floors.

The hotel is headed by General Manager, Mr. Jacques Leizerovici who boasts vast hotel operational experiences both in Malaysia and around the world. Mr. Leizerovici, who fell in love with the state of Sabah, has been residing in Kota Kinabalu for the past 11 years. The hotel houses a total of 310 guest rooms, comprising of 135 Superior rooms, 40 suites, 72 one-bedroom suites, 51 two-bedroom suites and 12 three-bedroom suites. All rooms are non-smoking rooms of which 14 offer connecting rooms.

For your dining needs, the Mercure Kota Kinabalu City Centre offers four food and beverage outlets namely Maupassant, the hotel’s all day dining restaurant, Phileas Café, a smartly design café in the lobby, Fratini’s, which caters to a range of  Italian cuisine and the Compass Lounge, strategically located on the rooftop of the hotel, offering mesmerising views of the ocean while you wine and dine.

Alongside Compass Lounge on the rooftop is the hotel’s swimming pool and gymnasium. Guests can enjoy a leisurely swim in its modern designed swimming pool or a proper work-out in the gymnasium which features floor-to-ceiling glass windows and spectacular views.

The hotel also offers a meeting and function room on the 25th floor, which can accommodate up to 40 people in a banquet setting.
