FOSTER is dedicated to provide a platform and technical supports for the Walai Penyu Conservation Park project on Libaran island. Its main objectives were to fulfil the obligations specified in the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed with Sabah Wildlife Department in 2013:
- To initiate public awareness programs on the importance of sea turtle conservation, making sure it does not go extinct and to protect environment;
- To work together with other government agencies and NGOs in preserving natural heritage particularly endangered species threatening by the destruction of environment;
- To plan and coordinate any environmental awareness programs for the public and to instil love for sea turtles so that it would be conserved for future generations.
RESPECT (RESponsible Elephant Conservation Trust)
The RESPonsible Elephant Conservation Trust, often known as RESPECT is an organization that is committed to creating and appropriate for elephants ecology while engaging the local community in this process. According to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), the Bornean Pygmy elephant is in the Endangered category. Hence, it’s our responsibility to nurture on the existence for the betterment of our children’s future.
